TCOM begins with the mission requirements, performs site evaluation, designs, manufactures, integrates and tests the system including payloads and sub-systems, provides training and support for the full system life cycle.

Design and Engineering

TCOM has an experienced staff of experts in civil, mechanical, electrical and systems engineering, aerodynamics, analog and digital communications, tether design, airborne and ground power systems, hydraulics, meteorology, logistics, installation, training, field engineering, operations and other disciplines necessary for the implementation of full-scale turnkey aerostat projects.

Manufacturing

TCOM maintains the largest and most modern facilities and resources available in the world, dedicated to aerostat manufacture, integration and testing.

System Integration

TCOM is the leading producer of fully integrated aerostat systems.

Prior to the full system test at our hangar, TCOM has the capability to integrate large payloads at our electronics assembly and test area at headquarters. The payloads can be suspended, powered and connected to housekeeping electronics to create a full functional system test.

Once this is accomplished, the payloads are sent to our manufacturing facility and integrated with the aerostat. The total system then undergoes comprehensive communications and surveillance systems checkouts. Final checks of all telemetry and command systems and RFI/EMI testing are performed before the complete system is certified for delivery.

Installation & Support

TCOM provides the support essential for the reliable and consistent performance of the system.

When the aerostat has passed TCOM’s formal inspection and testing procedure, it is shipped to the customer’s destination. TCOM works together to provide on-site installation, comprehensive training, consultation and assistance with final integration of the completed system. This integration includes providing connectivity with the customer's command centers and data/communication networks. We also provide ongoing operations and maintenance services and integrated logistics support.
