Ground Systems Manufacturing & Test Facility

Our new 40,000 square foot Ground Systems Manufacturing & Test Facility stands next to the hangar complex. This building has two 300-ft long high bays with heavy-duty overhead cranes. One bay is 45-ft high with 55 tons of lift capacity and the other is 40-ft high with 30 tons of lift capacity. The facility is dedicated to the assembly, testing, and integration of ground winch and mooring systems equipment to support the TCOM family of aerostats. Efficient material handling equipment supports the movement of large and small structures. Specialized equipment are available for the complete assembly, testing and installation of all hydraulic subsystems. Electrical and instrumentation equipment are integrated and also tested prior to installation.
